Terms and conditions of use
This renting contrat is exclusive at Les Prenards in Chouvigny France.
Duration of stay : the renting contrat concluded for a fixed period and does not allow under any circonstances any right to remain in the permises at the end of the rental period.
The renting contract concluded : the booking is confirmed once the tenant sent the owner a deposit of 20% of the total rental amount with a signed contract before the due date. The original will be kept by the tenant.
The rental concluded between the tenant and les Prenards owner in no case can benefit at any body else except with the written consent of the owner.
Any breach of this paragraph by the tenant would be liable to exhance the termination of the rental (the rental income remaining definitively acquired by the owner).
No withdrawal: For bookings made by mail, phone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the relative withdrawal period, in accordance with article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code in particular to the accomodation services provided on a date or determined period.
Cancellation by the tenant : Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter to the owner.
Cancellation before arrival : The deposit remains with the owner. The latter may request the balance of the rental amount, if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the scheduled date of entry into the premises.
If the tenant does not appear within 24 hours of the arrival date indicated on the contract, this contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of his lodging.
The deposit also remains with the owner who will request payment of the balance of the rental.
In the event of a shortened stay : The rental price remains with the owner. No refund will be made.
Cancellation by the owner : The owner pays back the tenant for all amounts already received as well as an indemnity at least equal to the one the tenant would have had if the cancellation had been made by him on that date.
Arrival : The tenant must arrive on the specified day and time mentioned on this contract. In case of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify the owner.
Payment of the rental : The balance of the rental is paid upon entering.
Inventory : An inventory is drawn up jointly and signed by the tenant and the owner or his representative on arrival and departure from the cottage. The state of cleanliness of the lodging on the arrival of the tenant must be noted in the inventory of fixtures. The cleaning of the premises is the responsibility of the tenant during the rental period and before his departure. The amount of any cleaning costs is established on the basis of calculation mentioned in the price sheet by the owner within a period not exceeding one week after departure.
Security deposit : On arrival of the tenant, a security deposit, amount indicated in the rental contract, is requested by the owner. After the contradictory establishment of the exit inventory, this deposit is returned, after deduction of cost for permises repairing if damage was observed. In the case of early departure (prior to the time mentioned on this contract) preventing the establishment of the inventory on the day of the tenant's departure, the security deposit is returned by the owner within a period not exceeding a week.
Use of the cottage : The tenant must ensure the peaceful character of the rental and make use of it in accordance with the destination of the premises while respecting the internal regulations of the establishment.
Cottage capacity : This contract is established for a maximum capacity of 5 people per cottage. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity, the owner can refuse the additional people. Any modification or termination of the contract will be considered at the initiative of the customer.
Reception of pets : This contract specifies the acceptance of dogs and cats within the limit of 2 per cottage. When booking a cottage the tenant must indicate the number of pets that will accompany him. The specific stay arrangements for pets are specified in house rules. If this clause is not respected, the owner can refuse the stay : no refund will be made.
Insurance : The tenant is responsible for any damage caused by him. He is required to be insured by a resort-type insurance contract for these various risks.
Payment of charges : At the end of the stay, the tenant must pay the owner the charges not included in the price.
Their amount is established on the basis of calculation mentioned on the price list and proof is provided by the owner.
The tourist tax for the municipality of Chouvigny is 3% per people per night.
Disputes : Any complaint relating to the condition of the premises and the condition of the description during a rental, must be submitted to owners and insurance companies within three days of entering or leaving the premises.
